Week 14 Picks and a Little Fantasy Advice

Week 14 picks.... the start of fantasy playoffs for some. The wind up of suicide pools and league pick 'ems for others. Here goes:

  • Buffalo Bills vs Tampa Bay Buccaneers
  • Miami Dolphins vs Pittsburgh Steelers
  • Detroit Lions vs Philadelphia Eagles
  • Indianapolis Colts vs. Cincinnati Bengals
  • Minnesota Vikings vs Baltimore Ravens
  • Tennessee Titans vs. Denver Broncos
  • Seattle Seahawks vs. San Francisco 49er's
  • New York Giants vs San Diego Chargers
  • St. Louis Rams vs Arizona Cardinals
  • Carolina Panthers vs. New Orleans Saints
  • Atlanta Falcons vs Green Bay Packers
  • Kansas City Chiefs vs. Washington Redskins
  • Oakland Raiders vs. New York Jets
  • Cleveland Browns vs New England Patriots
Monday Night Pick:
  • Dallas Cowboys vs. Chicago Bears
I think it'll be the Bears. Not only do I love to watch Romo lose (almost as much as I love watching Tom Brady get sacked), the Bears have the better defense (if only marginally). With both teams having a fairly strong offense (even with McCown at the helm), the difference is going to be which defense can step up and make the plays. I think that's Chicago. Also, Chicago in the winter. Brr.
Thursday Night Results:
  • Houston Texans vs. Jacksonville Jaguars
Week 12: 5 Wins, 8 Losses, 0.384
Week 13: 9 Wins, 7 Losses, 0.563
Week 14: 1 Win, 0 Losses, 1.000 (In progress)
Overall: 15 Wins, 15 Losses, 0.500

Fantasy Advice:

Zac Stacy or Bobby Rainey
I know you probably think I've lost my marbles, but hear me out. This is a decision I had to make myself this week, in addition to advising a coworker. Zac Stacy is against a rock-solid Arizona run defense. I know he made Seattle looks silly, and I'm not saying you'd be in dire straits starting Stacy. I'm just saying that Rainey's match up against Buffalo is a lot softer and Rainey is getting more and more touches. Brian Leonard isn't a strong change of pace, so they just hand the ball to Rainey. Just trust me on this one, ok?
